I have noticed that I can hardly even leave the house to go to my
local Video store without seeing at least one person wearing a South
Park t-shirt or seeing a store take advantage of the popularity of
Comedy Central's highest rated show. This is not a bad thing, it
probably proves that South Park will not be taken off the air for
a long time but Christ, have we all seen the Kyle "Kickass" t-shirt?
It's basically a crappy drawing of Kyle with two words under him.
This is for $15??? Same goes for the "Kick The Baby" t-shirt. And
buttons, sticky notes, a 1.5 million dollar movie??? Let's face it,
South Park has gotten a little too popular. I admit, I was
one of the many people who didn't watch the show until everyone
told you how good it was. I myself now own a domain name and
devote most of my free time working on it. South Park is so popular
that people are running out of good website ideas. There is a South
Park Pages That SUCK site up, and this is devoted to finding sucky SP
sites. This is sad, people, do we have too big of a South park internet
community so that we need sites like that? I will probably get many,
many angry emails about this closing statement, but it needs
to be said (and it gives a lot of ZING to the closing statement)
South park is more popular than Jesus.
