Family Guy Volume 1 DVD is a 4-disc set, running 632 minutes containing all 28 episodes from the first 2 seasons. Commentary by Seth McFarlane, David Zuckerman, and cast members such as Seth Green and Alex Borstein accompany the following episodes: "Death Has A Shadow," "The Son Also Draws," "Peter, Peter, Caviar Eater," "Holy Crap!" "Fifteen Minutes of Shame,"
"Let's Go to the Hop," "He's too Sexy for his Fat," and "E Peterbus Unum." Other special features include Fox interntet promo spots and a behind-the-scenes featurette.
The video and sound quality is what to expect from a digital video format. Animations are clean and smoothe, while sound quality is pristine. The comentary is entertaining, however the special features are slightly lacking. I'm looking forward to Family Guy Volume 2 (which will be release Sept. 9th) which will include more complete special features including never before seen episodes. All in all, Family Guy Volume 1 on DVD is a good buy.
